I have two small kids and we want to move outside of the orlando area. Quite clean new area. With new shopping and schools. Were looking to move around 15 miles outside of the area like windermere but not as expensive. Any ideas.

Dr. Phillips, Celebration, Winter Garden (some areas) --we almost moved there back in Sept and I did a lot of research. We would of gone with Celebration. It cost about 1900.00 to rent a 3 bedroom condo or small house but the schools are the BEST and small.

Check out Hunters Creek or Reunion - 2 newer neighborhoods 10-15 minutes further out with lower costs than Windermere. Alternatively, there are some good deals in a few of the neighborhoods off Apopka Vineland Road right now.

Try the Lake Mary - Heathrow area. (I think we're nicer than Windermere!) Seminole county schools (yea), nice mall, bike trails, parks... whoo hoo! We're about 15 miles north of Orlando. Take I-4 (not it's not the only way to get here) and get off at the Lake Mary exit or drive east one more exit to 46-A.

Come take a look!

Right near Windermere is Winter Garden. They have some really nice neighborhoods being built there....and I'm sure you could find a house there cheaper than in Windermere.
