When Princess Anne married, a title would have been bestowed upon Capt. Mark Phillips, however he and Anne didn't want their children to hold titles, and after discussions they chose not to have a title bestowed upon the Captain...
For Zara to have been a Princess, the Queen would have to have made Captain Mark a Prince, which was never an option.
To clear up the subject of Zara's title it should be noted that Mark Philips declined an en-noblement, that is, the title of Duke downwards.
Thus the highest title Zara would ever have held in her own right would have been "Lady" therefore making it impossible for Zara to hold a title, unless marrying into titles.
Titles are passed through the male bloodline and because her father didn't hold one, Zara doesn't either...
Zara's children will have no titles, unless Zara marries a man with a title and they chose to pass their titles on, as British titles flow through male lineage...

Since 1917 the children of the sovereign's daughters have no longer received the title of HRH or princess. It was not a case of her parents deciding they did not want her to have a title; under the current guidelines it was not an option. The children of Princess Margaret and the late Princess Mary were not princes or princesses either.
However in my opinion this is sexist and they should have the same status as the children of the sovereign's son, especially as Peter Philips is the Queen's eldest grandchild.

No, she is a daughter of the princess!
Zara Phillips Biography
She is adored by her whole family, men can't resist her, she is Zara Phillips. The daughter of the Princess Royal who is now 19 is becoming a shining star in the house of windsor.
She is famous for appearing in public with a metal stud which she paid 35 pounds for at a tatto parlour in Elgin. It is also believe she has inserted a belly button ring. How did her parents deal with this rebelious situation? Anne did nothing. She did however comment that she couldn't understand a word Zara was saying when she talked. When Zara returned to Gordstoun the stud was removed due too school rules.
In the past Zara has been linked with childhood friend Andrew Tucker who lives on the Gatcombe Park estate.
Zara has also been seen with 22 year old National Hunt Jockey Richard Johnson. They were seen at the Hollow Bottom pub together several times. They met each other at David Nicholson yard, the training stable for both Anne, and Zara. Richard when question of this rumour replyed, "I don't know where all this gossip about Zara and me is coming from, it's all news too me. I know her cause she rides out at the Duke's." (Duke is the nickname for trainer David Nicholson)." He also added that you could never guess that Zara had any connection with Royalty. " She is a happy, fun girl and a good person to get on with. I am friends with her, that's all."
There has been a hint that Zara may take up a career in riding. She could ride at the age of four and is fearless on the back of a horse. There has been speculation that will one day join the British Olympic Equestrian Team like her father and mother. Her father commented on these rumours by saying, "She's got natural talent on a horse, but I thik to be a successful competitor you've got to put in a lot of hours." Capt. Mark Phillips was also asked if he would ever coach her, replyed, "only if she works at it."
With her strong Character and love of the outdoors, Zara has always been regarded as a carbon copy of her mother. They are so alike that of course conflict has become no rare occasion.
Zara has always had a warm, close relationship with her mother's second husband, Captain Tim Laurence. He taught both Anne's children how too sale and cheers them on in there riding events.
Zara has always preferred such pursuits to more girly ones. When she was a child she never had a interest in dolls and always preferred boys' games, playing with her older brother Peter, William and Harry.
From the day she was born, Anne's daughter has always been different from the rest of the royal family. Her name, which means bright as the dawn, raised eyebrows when it was announced because it was not a traditional royal Christian name.
He mother insistd that both Zara and Peter should start their education at the local village school near Minchinhampton, Gloucestershire. It was Anne's wish that her children could mix and mingle with the children from ordinary local families.
Anne was determinded that her children would grow up in a normally as possible and to a great extent, she got her wish.
Zara has risen among the royal and socail elite on her own and not through a title but with a strong personalty, great sense of humor, and the most importantly, she is liked by almost everyone.
still more too come.............

there is not any such guy or woman as princess kate, its catherine duchess of cambridge, and she or he does not assume all and sundry to curtsy to her,in public while she is with the duke of cambridge it may be seen superb if a member of the general public basically did a splash bob, however the royal kinfolk do no longer care if we curtsy or no longer, its us that gets right into a state approximately it.
