George Bush should be the one Executed and not Saddam

I'm only saying my opinion and if you don't agree with me just tell me that i'm wrong and tell me why.
I know that Saddam was a very bad president but what i'm saying is that it is not only him. And in the period that he was a president at least iraq was used to be called a country... but now after war and all that it is not.

I saw a lot of pictures of how the american soliders used to enter homes and kill the families inside even kids under the age of 5... AT LEAST SADDAM NEVER DID THAT

George Bush is a human being like everyone else. I haven't quite figured out why people expect him to be perfect. He was elected into office and has made decisions to the best of his ability with the tools that he's been given to work with. He was fed misinformation. His decisions were based on what was suppose to be a reliable source. His advisors were going by the same information that he was given. He's not the first president/leader this has happened to and won't be the last. This does not make him evil or stupid. I admire the fact that he has stood by his convictions in spite of all the criticism. I wonder how many of the finger pointers would be able to stand by their convictions under the pressure he's received. I do not feel sorry for Saddam Hussein. He tortured many people without remorse. However, I do not feel joy at the death of another human being. Some would even argue that point saying that he wasn't a human being due to the atrocities he inflicted. I can't help but wonder the type of abuse he had to have endured in order to get to the point of being as warped as he was. As for the American soldiers....they are heroes!! If it weren't for their sacrifices, we as Americans would not be able to indulge in the freedoms that we take for granted. There is a delicate balance in the world powers. As demonstrated on 9-11, it can literally all change in the blink of an eye. If it weren't for those soldiers, you might not have the right to speak your opinion against them.

I feel sorry for anyone executed - but that is tempered with the reality that he made choice that led him to his fate. I have to say I am concerned for your mental health if you think that George Bush should be executed instead of Saddam. Either that or you have a rather naive view of the world. However, I certain give you the right to hold an opinion like that where as if Saddam was in charge and you gave an opinion opposed to him you would have been executed for it. Bush would not do that.

I do not feel sorry for Saddam, he was a really rotten guy only just I do not believe in the death penalty, humiliation in prison for the rest of his life would have been fine. For that matter Bush should not be executed either however he should come up for hearings before Congress which just might happen now I hope. (and to all you cons who shout out about wartime, remember that there were congressional hearings during WWII, we had some oversight going on back then...)

My problem is what it says about us - we are preaching that the ends justify the means, getting Saddam out of power justified illegal invasion, use of really bad intelligence. We are preaching that it is okay to invade another country and take out their leader and get him to trial because he committed war crimes. I'm just not so sure we are setting a good precedent there.

So calm down, no one should be executed. If we had not rushed to execute McVeigh we would not have all these conspiracy theories about him and alqaeda, we could just ask him, right?

i think of the Iraqis had no determination yet to execute Saddam. as long as he remained alive there might continually be a terror between people who're at the instant in fee that Saddam might come back to pwer and take revenge. The human beings in spite of the undeniable fact that set up a tutor trial that became on no account going to furnish Saddam a honest trial. for this reason the putting might continually ber considered as victors justice and that i think of the human beings made a mistake this style. Saddam became an evil tyrant for the time of his existence and that i'm no longer able to be sure a lot of human beings laying off any tears for the guy

I am not a big fan of Bush but Saddam got the punishment that was fit for his crimes in his own country. I was a little surprised by how fast it happened but I sure don't feel sorry for him.

You know if a man were to break one of his laws and he couldn't find the man to punish him he would take his woman or his children and murder them in front of his family.

Another one. The Olympic team did worth **** one year and he held them at the palace for a ridiculous amount of time, something like 10 months, and he tortured them the whole time.

George Bush isn't a great man but where the execution of Saddam Hussein is concerned he's a non issue. This guy had it coming.

You're so incredibly lucky to be an Amercian, because you have the freedom to be an immature, self-centered, blithering twit. If you tried saying this about your government/leader and you were an Iraqi, you would have died a hideous death under Saddam.

If you honestly believe that Bush and "all Amercian soldiers" are that bad, get on the first damn plane to someplace you find "better."

Saddam killed a lot of innocent people and finally he paid for his crimes against humanity but sadly i think this will spark of a long line of terror attacks which started 30 Min's after he was put to death.i never felt sorrow for him because right up to the second before he died he had no remorse for what he had done also if your going to ask questions like this you need to find out just what this man did and then maybe you wouldn't get a bad response of people

Sorry for Saddam? Last time I heard, Saddam literally try to do genocidie, go after people he have grudge against, etc... So why should I feel sorry for him?

I wish I was there to watch him hang so I can take pictures, throw trash at him, and pulls on his legs.

wow......i don't *even* know what to say.

I think you need to look up the definition of what a President is.....Saddam was a DICTATOR. Meaning he took over Iraq by force.

Oh and.... Saddam did kill young children. In fact, he raped young females with machine guns. I read a story once in a magazine about something that he'd done. Apparently, he used to make people stand on tires in rooms with water covering the floor and electricity running through the water. If the people feel off, they would be killed. And this, was done for no reason.
