You should never take "trends" seriously. There are people from all ethnicities that look good. Each individual has different tastes. Some might find one man to be unbelievably hot, while another woman doesn't even find him attractive.

Actually on people it is considered an eye flap and those with no flaps are usually of Asian decent and those with a flap are Caucasian, African-American, Hispanic etc.
As for which one looks better: Does it really matter? If you like the guy then what his eye lids look like should matter.

You know there is more to people then just just the kind of eyelids they have. There are good looking guys of Asian origin and good looking guys of Western origin. HTH : )
