I'd put a set of fake rims on it and leave it near a Council Estate so some coloured tosser will blag it as soon as your backs turned, mate.
You could burn the sodding thing and keep yourself warm.

I am from Canada. One of the best solutions I've heard of to get rid of Christmas trees and help the environment is to weigh them down and put them in a lake. This makes for an excellent fish habitat.

try your local council website. Mine sent a leaflet mround about Christmas waste collections, they're picking the trees up on the 9th Jan, yours might be doing something similar. Or else go to the Forestry Commission website, they might have somke info

No offense, but in my location it's called "The Curb"
That said, in my location there is yard trash pickup as well as house trash. I'll assume there are recycle centers, even perhaps ads in your local media stating locations to dispose of trees.

Call your local transfer station or dump and ask if they do recycling. I know in my area they well accept trees to turn into mulch.

Ring your local council and they will have plenty of places to dispose of your tree in a responsable way.You may have to wait a week or two though as it still is quite early.

Take it to your local council rubbish depot and they will put it through a heavy duty shredder and then use it as mulch in the parks.

Usually you will see a notice in your local paper, or you could ring your local council to see if they operate a system
