Green eyes are very pretty so make them stand out more by using light shades instead of dark shades. Any color will look good with green eyes but I suggest trying something with shimmer in it to draw attention to your eyes. Brown shades always look really good with green eyes so why don't you vary slightly and go with a shimmery gold eye shadow (don't go too wild stay with a glowing shimmer rather than a glitter) and brown eye liner and mascara.

I've got dark green eyes as well...
For eye liner, use either a soft black or a plum shade.
Apply either a very, very light green or a cream colored shade from lid to brow. Use a darker purple on the lid only. Then use a very dark green from the outer edge of you lid into the crease. Blend as needed to avoid any "clownish" look. Black mascara to finish it off.
You might want to try Almay's set for green eyes...works very well. (Just avoid the gem colored mascara for your basic "day" looks)

i also have very green eyes, and found that dark purple with black liner and doing my eyes smokey really makes them pop. also using a wash of a light lavender for day is pretty. i wear bare minerals/escentuals and usually for day wear some gossamer, a shimmery gold all the way to the brow bone, then add warmth in the crease. really looks nice.

WOW! Dark green eyes?? I envy you.
Here's an idea..Get a black liquid eyeliner, and line the outside corners of your eyes (the corners that aren't by your nose) and slowly outline your eyelid, and only outline a bit of your lower eyelid.
Have the lines thicker as they get closer to the ouside corners.
This'll really help make them stand out, and it gives you a kind of open-eyed look.
AND the black looks almost elegant with your eye colour

Blue will compliment green eyes, as it contrasts, just as green would compliment Blue eyes.
Purple would als work, not definately don't use green.
