click on start then my computer then on view system information

I hope i understand your question.If you are trying to check what you have in your system then Click on Start -click on control panel and on the control panel board click on Performance and Maintenance and finally click on system.If you want to check the hardware in your system just click on the hardware tab and it be display

What OS are you running? With Win2K, look in Settings, Control Panel, System. Is that what you are looking for?
