I have itunes set to manually manage music because if I sync the music I will lose lots of cds I burned to my ipod and deleted. Now I have some duplicate songs on my ipod I want to delete. I took them off when looking at the drive but they still show on the ipod, they just dont play. Can they be taken off without syncing the music again? Ive also changed details like album titles, can it be updated on the ipod without adding the song again and having a duplicate. The songs in the file system are renamed and not in any apparent order. I guess my question is can I sync the music and not have itunes delete the songs that arent in itunes anymore from the ipod?
