Damn hormones! I had this, along with that linea negra. I never had that cute pregnant belly that you see in magazine ads. The hair fell out and the line disappeared after I had my son thankfully! The same thing happened to my sister and she's had two kids.

Hello! This 'hairy' problem is a result of the changes in your hormones. Some women lose their hair, others grow more hair. But, everything will be sorted out and back to normal by the time your baby is 12 months old. So relax, don't worry - at least tummy hairs are better than face hairs!

Yep, I also experience this before having my son but pleased to say the hair all but disappeared quite quickly after giving birth. One midwife claimed it was more common in women expecting boys and that this meant increased levels of testosterone therefore causing side effects such as hairiness however I do not know if this is true or not. I did have a boy though and notice some of the previous answers who experience the same problem also had boys...........good luck!

One of the wonderful joys of pregnancy, lol. It's hormones, don't worry. All sorts of things will happen to your body, it's a small price to pay for such a blessing though. :) You're perfectly normal.

The magic answer to this question is......hormones lol! They attribute to most of your pregnancy niggles. You can try some hair removal treatments if you are self- concious about this.
