Nope. My mother and father created me through sexual reproduction, but they are not gods.

You are God anyway according to Hindu belief. Since everything in the universe is composed of the same subatomic particles, the same energy, then you are an integral part of the universe and really no different from any other part of it be that a star, a galaxy or a rock. Thus if the universe itself and all energy within it is God then that means YOU are God!
As for being A god.... all you need is for some followers or beleivers to acknowledge you as a god. A god is nothing without anyone to recognise it as such. Over the ages there have been so many gods in so many civilisations and regardless of their function their power was really measured by the multitude who followed them. Without followers they are nothing.
And cloning isn't creating life any more than than sex is. At the end of a day it's just another egg being fertilised.

God is God and NONE can be God except HIM. God (Allah) Almighty created human being. Blessed them with mind, intelligence, knowledge, power to think, plan, design and create some thing new. All these attributes are gifted to human being from GOD. HE is powerful and capable of taking back the gifts HE has given.
Man is a small creatures of GOD Almighty. You have seen and observed that very very powerful persons, very wise people die at the end. Some of them die while they are young, other die in old age. Neither their wisdom nor their expertness and invention can save them from death.
These people can be called as INVENTOR and NOT CREATOR ~ No question for them to claim as god.

Cloning does not *create* de novo. It copies what already exists using the biochemistry, genetics, and physiology inherent and intrinsic to that species. Cloning no more makes a scientist a "god" than a couple having procreative sex are "gods".

I think your question puzzles you because of the word "God".
Due to religious influence, "God" has been seen as 'something' or 'someone' "out there", separated as an individual from all other individuals, such as you and I.
The only idea that makes any sense at all is that GOD is ALL-THAT-IS, and therefore neither separate nor individual from anything and anybody.
Explain to me: if God is Almighty, Omnipresent (exists everwhere), how can there be a place where God is not?
Hence: ALL is GOD - including you, me, scientists, and also all the rocks, animals, stars/planets in the universe, etc.
Analogy:
If you see your body as a whole, is not the last joint in your pinky also 'your body'? Ok, just a PART of it, but it shares the cell intelligence and blood stream with your brain!
Is your butt part of you? You'd definitely scream "YES" if it were absent!
ALL is GOD. There is no separation or individuality.
Individuality is a MENTAL construct that we uphold with our thoughts and communication. Pretty amazing, huh? We can create an imaginary reality with our thoughts alone....

Human beings are imperfect constantly striving for the human endeavor to become more humane (not accounting for the waxing and waning regression of our society) By definition God is the ultimate being and all perfect, though created in his image, no one could even come close. So be thankful because if you were God, you might not have anything to discover, like the answer to this question.

God is All That Is! Which means that God is everything and everything is God. That includes each one of us. God has no form, no gender and no specific name. God is timeless. There is no beginning to God, and there is no ending. Every living thing is God, and God is every living thing. God is also every inanimate object, and every inanimate object is God. Any separation between us and God is an illusion. Any separation between any one of us, and any other of us, is also an illusion. We are all one, and we are all God. There is only one thing! That one thing is God, and it is all of us. We are co-creators with God...which is the REAL meaning behind the saying that we were created in God's image. But, most religions have created a PERCEPTION of God...in man's image. God created us...on the soul level...but we create our own reality.

no, your neither. you did not "create" anything, and no one has, exept god. creating is making something out of nothing. and you can not replace god.
so if you got a vaccume ( an area with no particles of matter or anti-matter, a 100% empty space, magically made something appear without using anything, then yes, you did create something. but its impossible so your screwed.
also if you knew EVERYTHING, could do no evil, had no darkness in you, where everywhere at all times, well, still, you would still not be a god

THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD!! THE CREATOR! WE ARE MADE IN HIS IMAGE"MAN"(feminists, don't get your girdles all "bunched up,it refers to womenkind too") angels&demons, the lesser spirit creatures are also known as "gods" they are superior to mankind and can "kick us to the curb".people cannot "create anything" we can make things and GOD has given us the ability to pro-create have children. and we have various talents which he gives us,all things are possible through HIS son jesus(also a god,not ALMIGHTY GOD) scientists want to be gods and dispel belief in GOD THE FATHER ,WHY...BECAUSE MAN IS SELFISH,VAIN,IMPERFECT,AND HARD-HEADED! AND WE WANT WHAT DOES'NT RIGHTLY BELONG TO US..".WORSHIP"!
now you've got me thinking about getting some spirituality.
HAVE A GOOD 2007 BE SAFE AND HAPPY!

Ever hear of judgment day? I once wondered if that day was the day of my death and if i were satisfied with my life and at the second of my death i felt i forgave myself, I'd go to a positive place beond this life and vice versa. Hence be,,,I am God of my body. It was once a thought and it is hard to land on a definite answer.
