How do I find a jewelry co. who may be interested in my idea?

I submitted this question 2 weeks ago but haven't had time to see if anyone answered, because of holidays. Don't want to go through invention co. who are motivated by commission, not by the marketable possibilities of a new idea, and just take your money. I would like to find a jewelry co. who would be interested in my idea of a new product, and manufacter it, or consider it, before someone else comes up with it.

Is the idea / product good and has mass appeal, someone will rip it off, copy it, etc.
You have to believe in the merit of your idea and take all the risks to get the rewards.
What rewards do you hope to get from your idea ?
Make a prototype first.
This way you can approach different manufacturers with a tangable item and maybe one will go for it.
Chances are if you have thought of this someone else has too.
