I predict there will be a revolution in America within the next 25 years. Our country has become so politically polarized that people are willing to change things in America to bring them more towards the middle... whatever it takes. I believe we need to move from the two-party system we currently have in place and allow third parties to take a MUCH bigger role in our political system. Both Republicans and Democrats aren't doing anything good for our country and only dividing it further. I believe it will take a third party member to bring our nation back together again. Who will it be?

I think that Angry American is right on the money! All of these career politicians have to go and take the lobbyists with them. This country can't survive with just Democrats and Republicans in Washington. Between tax breaks for obscenely rich corporations and supporting all the illegal immigrants, financial disater looms. Just wait and see how long it will be before we get a tax increase. Now the government is going to pay some of the post office employees' pensions! What's that all about?

Sorry to disillusion you, but revolutions are not about placards and flasks of tea. They are about power and force and greed and death and change. Rarely with revolution does change come without conflict. So don`t leave your rifles and hand-grenades at home. Make sure that you take adequate precautions to protect yourself, because it won`t be a game of `paint-ball`.

I would think its nigh time for one, since materialism has replaced the natural fabric of community life.
As a left wing admirer of Ernest "Che" Guevara, I would hope that it be a socialist inspired revolution, though the taking of lives would worry and sadden me, I hope that before such circumstances arise, people would have a revolution in their minds eye, for revolution is the evolution of humanity.
We need a great change in perception, so we can leave all the old Midas's behind, before they turn everything sacred to gold and also get back to the basis of human values and not hide or foster our petty hatreds behind the shadows of Gods.

Oh, do I ever ... I've got some sensible shoes, and a waterproof, and I'll fill up that flask that Auntie Jean got me for Christmas ... I'll even dismantle the broom so we can have a placard and state our cause ...
