It's called Threads.
It was made by the BBC in the mid-80's, and depicts the outcome of a nuclear explosion. It's very harrowing and chilling, but well worth watching if you get the chance.

Threads. You can get it on Amazon. I had heard of it to, I ordered it, watched it, then through it in the bin because I wouldn't have wanted to watch it again. Truly shocking and realistic.
