I understand her need to return to religion, but I'm disappointed in the books. She's on her own personal journey, and I respect that, but I tried reading one, and just couldn't do it. Yes, the Vampire chronicles got old (with Tale of a Body Snatcher, I thought), but I really loved them (as a teen). So, I'm personally disappointed, but I don't judge her for it.

Well her turn back to Christ may have caused a bit of a dip in her writing, but would much rather spend eternity with her than have her be the best novelist on the planet. So, I say - love the new direction Anne and God Bless.

It is nothing compared to her Vampire Chronicles, and did you read her justification at the end of her book, why she decided to quit writing the Vampire Chronicles and Mayfair witches book, she had to say why she quit her religion until her husband died. I don't really like it, do what your good at.

Details please, as she has written vampire and witch books, but I suspect that you are refering to the erotic fiction she writes..and she's been doing that for while. Not read any of it, but some passages in her books are pretty erotic, so I suppose it's just going of at a tangent, which writers are prone to do.

I don't like it at all.
I loved her Vampire Chronicals when I was younger, and this new stuff isn't nearly as good.
I'd rather see a new Lestat book.

I think she should return writing about vampires and witches, which is what she does best, and leave novelised interpretations of the Christian myth to others.

If it doesn't have Armand or Goblin in it I'm reluctant to read it. All her stuff is kind of the same and she drives me mad with how everything is 'incandescent'. I don't even know what it means!!!
