You might. Lots of symptoms, including joint pain and irritability.
I try to ignore them and tell myself this is the other end of puberty when I cried at the littlest thing. it's a natural process. I've chosen not to take hormone replacement, but you might choose differently. The symptoms subside eventually.

Hi hun. I have been in menopause for over a year now and my first symptom was headaches. You will experience EVERYTHING. You hormones are bouncing all over the place. I am also a nurse. I would recommend seeing your doctor for symptom relief. Some doctor's will prescribe hormones like birth control to balance you out. I suggest progesterone. It is safer. A lot of doctor's these days are making women "wing it" so to speak. Vitamins are very important and will help. You should take a GOOD multi vitamin, a calcium vitamin/D, and B-12. yes different chemicals and stress can do this to you...
(going thru the same thing)
