True happiness will never come to you until you are doing those things that offer you purpose, meaning and fulfillment.
Whether it be writing, painting, helping others or rebuilding hot rod cars.

Acceptance is very important and is the main way to happiness. But you gotta be careful of not becoming complacent when you follow that road... It's very easy to become complacent with what you already have and stop striving to be better each day.

Like the guy in Fight Club says: "...let me never be content. I say, let me never be complete."... when you are complete, you are dead. You always must keep fighting, striving to be better, while trying to enjoy the little things you encounter on the road. Never too much enjoyment and complacence, but never too much responsibility and seriousness either. It's a difficult balance.

I think one has to choose to be happy in whatever situation they are in. Exercising and nutrition helps a lot. So does lowering ones stress level and appreciation for life.

If that doesn't work, then get lots of personal therapy and take anti depressants.

1. The way that you treat people.
2. The state of your soul.
3. The pure love that you have in your heart.

Sound so corny? Try them if you don't believe me...and try to 'accept' all the things whether it's good or bad - perfect or imperfect. Acceptance makes you more light and easy going.

Acceptance. If you can let go of expectations and desires for things to be different than they are or to have occurred differently than they had, then you can accept life for what it is. Acceptance rids you of seeing things in a negative light and bringing about unhappiness. Ridding yourself of unhappiness is the first step to achieving happiness.

happiness comes and goes with things we do, have, or temporary satisfaction we may find in our selves. But all these things will wear off, and we will continue our search for genuine and lasting happiness. "You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart" - GOD, who we're all really looking for, even if we don't know it yet. peace, friend.
