This is really a tough one. However, the best answer,s are 1. Give a Little Bit (Supertramp). 2. The Turning away (Pink Floyd) 3. Needle and the Damage Done (Neil Young) and Bring Me To Life (Evanescence) 5. Imagine (John Lennon) 6. My Sweet Lord (George Harrison) 7. Morning Has Broken (Cat Stevens and others). All for the same reasons. Each sung them with every bit of emotion they seemed to posess and all have tremendous lessons. Timeless music. Beautifully done. Never forgotten. AND for fun Tusk (Fleetwood Mac and the University of California Marching Band), Can't Find My Way Home (Stevie Winwood, Ginger Baker and >>>>)

and this is to Julie. yours is Unchained Melody, Righteous Brothers, sung for Ghost, I believe.

Off the top of my head it's a tossup between Ferron's "Girl on a Road" and the Nylons "The Stars are Ours".
