If Reality was in the vision of all that are blind to truths, then man would realise that they have infact done saddam hussain the greatest and most highest of favors possible on the face of existance.

So this execution was for the crimes he apparently comitted on just under 150 people ..

So what has happened in Iraq since the capture and toppling of saddam ??

They (the so called peace makers) went in to disarm iraq of weapons of mass destruction (there were none) yet since the invasion how many civillians have died ???

Irage was in a better state in saddams rule ??

So when well we see the Most dangerous man to humanity brought to the noose??

Injustice will win

Nobody has won.
Hanging Saddam Hussein doesn't right the wrongs that were committed. There are thousands of Iraqi families who have suffered and have lost family members under Saddam's regime, and there's just no way to repair that.
I'm not exactly sure of what you're trying to get at, but I don't agree with several of the statements you made, and am not sure that you have your facts straight.
The fact is that the world has rid itself of a psychopathic murderer, and the mis-handling of Iraq by the Americans, and the continuing bloodshed occasioned by the Sunni/Shiite fighting are seperate issues that don't change the fact that the world is a better place without Saddam Hussein.

I don't think anyone really wins. While I do believe the execution was justified, I fear that the fall-out could be severe. In World War 2, the greater majority agreed that Hitler was a serious threat, but with Iraq, there have been too many unanswered questions. Will this lead to civil war? Will more American troops and civilians be slaughtered just to make a statement? Will other nations grow in their dis-like of America? Will Iraq truly be better off? We'll just have to see.

What amazes me the most is how barbaric most of the Iraqi liberators are.
Kill him, hang him, cut him with razor blades, torture him.

Just listen to yourselves!!

You sound like crazy lunatic muderers. Seriously. Put the shoe on the other foot for a second, and read what you wrote.

Saddam Hussein was not crazy. He knew what he did. But you guys sound nuts.

It's so ironic. Those who are calling for peace in Iraq are the ones with the most horrific beliefs!

Your reality perhaps. Reality varies from person to person. I'm not blind to truths and I realize that different people have different perceptions of the truth. Yours and mine are obviously two examples of this. I used to be like you when I was younger and less wise. You might realize, one day, that there are people, out there, who are just plain evil and a threat to humanity. Idealistic views don't bring about a Utopia. Just imagine if someone had the balls to take care of Hitler before he extinguished the lives of those millions of innocent Jews. There are no easy answers to the violence that goes on in Iraq. I think we just should have sent in a hit squad to take out Saddam, but that's just me.

Saddam is dead...victory for Saddam...No one won anything from his killing, beside Saddam himself who won't be forced to spend his life in a prison...
Yes,it was right to bring Saddam to justice, because he was definitely guilty for many crimes, but killing him it was not the right choice...Now things are going to be worst in Iraq and of course the never ending violence in Iraq is going to affect the West too...
Killing people for killing other people it's not making the world better...It is not a punishment,it's a easy way out for everyone...But what good does it make to kill him?It won't bring anyone back to life...life imprisonment it's a better punishment...
Exactly since US and its allies have invaded Iraq many more people have died then under Saddam's rule.So what exactly the foreign troops have done, beside messing Iraqis life even more?

Saddam Hussein's last minutes were as follows:

Saddam (as the noose is put around his neck): Ya Allah (Oh God).

Someone in the audience: Mercy be on those who pray for Mohammed and the household of Mohammed. (Everyone repeats the prayer, including Saddam.)

Executioner and two people in the audience: And hasten his return (the Mehdi), curse his enemy and grant victory to his son, Muqtada, Muqtada, Muqtada! (This is a common Sadrist chant.)

Saddam (smirking): Muqtada?

NSA Muwafaq Al-Rubai'i: To Hell!

Saddam: (laughing)

Prosecutor Munqidh Al-Far'awn: Please, no.

Muwafaq Al-Rubi'i: Long live Mohammed Baqir Al-Sadr!

Someone in the audience: To Hell!

Saddam (solemnly recites the Shahada prayer): I witness that there is no god but Allah, and that Mohammed is the messenger of Allah. I witness that there is no god but Allah, and that Mohammed is the- (trap door is opened).

Audience: Prayers for Mohammed and the household of Mohammed.

Someone: The tyrant has fallen. May Allah's curse be upon him.

Someone: No. No. Stay back.

Someone: Leave him for 8 minutes. Don't take him down.

Someone: Everyone. Stay back.

No one wins. It should have been a condition of setting up the new government in Iraq that they abolish the death penalty.
