Put a paper towel on the spot and put a hot ( not to hot ) iron on it.
The paper will suck of the wax.
May be a fat spot will be left. You can get rid of that with soap water.

One way is to put ice on it and when really cold it will chip off. Another way if there is not a whole lot is to put paper towels over it and use a hot flat iron (what you use to iron clothes with). The iron will heat it and the paper towels will absorb it. Keep putting fresh paper towels on it and ironing until there is no more sign of wax on the towels. Good luck.

place one or two paper towels on top of the dried up wax,
then get an iron, place the iron on top of the paper towels,
place it with enough pressure to touch the paper towels and melt the wax, but not so much as to push it more into your carpet. the paper towel should absorb the wax :)
hope that helps!

Hi Just take paper towels or a brown bag and press with warm iron. This works for crayons too. Happy New Year.
