... This is a question for which most will not believe the truth until they experience it for themselves. .... There are those alive in the world today who are very aware of what happens to the individual after they die,.. but if any of those individuals were to publicly share what they know about this,.. they would most likely be scoffed at and rejected by the masses. As a result,.. we end up relinquishing the truth to movies which depict such information disguised as "fantasy" and "fiction".
.....
I will share with you what I know about this,.. but it will mean little to you until you have discovered the truth for yourself. ........... Reincarnation is a truth. ... You have what is commonly referred to as a 'soul',.. and that essence of consciousness carries the memory of your lived experiences,.. which are recorded in emotion.
This life is a great school ground for the soul,..and each soul incarnates into this life over and over until that soul has finally 'graduated' if you will,.. from this experience that is called Human life. .......... Each incarnation is determined by the souls past accumulated experience.
There is often a period of time spent by the soul in between incarnations,.. involved in assimilating and digesting the previous lifes experiences,.... in preparation for the next incarnation. .......
The existence where the soul resides in,.. is not "physically" at another location from say,.. this world,.. It exists in another dimension or vibratory state that resonates at a much faster rate of speed than that of this physical state that we call life. .. There are many souls who after they die and leave their physical body,.. do not right away leave this world that we call life. ... Because of attachment to this life,. they remain and linger here for different periods of time.
......... There are many physically invisible souls around us in the world. These are what has been commonly referred to as "ghosts". .......... The tribal peoples of the world have always been intimately aware of the presence of these souls,.. and they acknowledge and respect their presence. ....... These lingering souls do individually eventually move on to the realm of "Spirit",.. where they prepare for their next incarnation.
This is a very involved subject and one which you can learn about if you are interested in doing so. There is a book you can read which is entitled; "SETH SPEAKS",..By; Jane Roberts. ... That is a good book which will convey the nature of these things.
.... The bottom line is,.. The brain is not the mind,.. The mind is an energy field that both surrounds and permeates the body,.. and that mind does not die when the physical body dies. .. It merely moves into a subtle realm that vibrates invisibly beyond the physical. ....The physical brain is merely a "transciever" between the mind and the body.
As physics will tell you,.. energy does not end,.. it merely changes form. .. And so it is with you. .. The you that is your consciousness,.. will never die. It will however change form,... over and over as it journeys on the adventure that is the evolution of consciousness.

There are too many theories on the subject. I personally know what happens but I can't expect you to believe me. Each person has to travel this path to find out. There are lots of books on the subject. Some are correct. Find a book by someone who has died and come back. Let your intuition guide you. Be very quiet when you ask for the answers. Let them come to you.

I like to believe that our souls travel around for a while and then to another world. Noone really knows, you hear of people dying and comming back saying that they were being called by loved ones etc. I believe that is true, whatever happens i think that its peaceful, just live life and dont worry about it.

If you believe in that, then that's what shall happen. Anyway, no point worrying about things like that. Be realistic, live you life to the fullest now, DO good and BE good to yourself and others and you will die a happy person. ;>

Where you go depends on what you believe. In concrete terms, your body turns to dust and you simply dissipate and become part of the earth. Spiritually, you may live forever. Who knows except for those who have gone on? You will find out when it is time for you to know. Until then, be good to others.

consider life a test God created us. He also gave us a chance to do what we want or to follow him. The bible is real even scientifically and historicaly that is being proved. The bible is basic instructions before leaving earth. What you do now and here will affect your afterlife. If you dont belive in jesus then you are rejecting god. You will go to hell hell is not a place of torture it is a place of torment . YOu will spend eternity apart from god knowing you had a chance but refused. Jesus doesnt ask for much just that you belive in him and that you do the right thing. This is the most important issue in your life find the truth before its too late go to a pastor at a church and ask him prove to me that jesus is for real. I guarantee he will. Now days its easier to belive in god then it is to belive in evolution. something can never come from nothing and we are something.

I have had several OBEs, and I believe our soul, essence, or lifeforce goes on.
I also believe reincarnation is real.

We die and decompose. The mind is solely a function of the living brain, and therefore ceases to exist after death.
