It depends how famous they are. If not too famous, offer to do something for them - photographs for example, or write an article about thier gig and do an interview.

Whatever you do make sure you arrange it before.

Otherwise you could just be groupies and offer to have sex with them! Up to you.

BEFORE the gig is probably the best idea - get there really early for the soundcheck (maybe 3pm) and be prepared to wait about a lot - they will leave the venue and return about an hour or two before the performance. It does depend on their 'fame' level they may be really chuffed to meet you - may set up their own equipment etc. Have fun!

when i was an eager teen i got to meet lots of bands before the gig. if it is a smallish venue (less than 5000 people) you may get lucky. usually their buses and stuff being outside the venue means they r in, and out and about. unless they r Huge , you might just find it easy to sneak in or if you r great company they might let you in( no need for BJ's!) and chat. good luck and cherish these days of recklessness!

If you have back stage passes it will work. But I have an idea if the tickets are still on sale try getting some backstage passes. If there isn't any on sale try getting some from a friend,I bet they wont charge you for any money. So try it.Belive me I did it before!

surf round the net and maybe you could find some phone numbers to call about seeing them before the show or somthing ( if u do it after the stars may get a bit cranky after performing the whole thing!). there really is no other way with out using your 'connections'!
good luck

Hi Nicola I suggest you email or write to the fan club of the band you are going to see. Just explain it would be a nice surprise for your friend.
I met my Idol this way.
Good Luck

>>hmmmmmmm, harass the managegment, or, my older sister pretends to faint at Michael Jackson concerts everytime and she didn't get anywhere with meeting him!!! If you harass the management and keep doing so, that works, ffind out the label and go from there(also, be casual-don't beg!!!)
