Optimus Prime, the leader of the cartoon Transformers is a tractor trailor that transforms in to a large robot. The show is still on in a different form today, still a cartoon of course.

Optimus prime was at first a cab-over tractor trailer, then a conventional truck, and during the "beast wars" series he was a gorilla.

He was always a flat nose trailer truck. if you go more in depth, he was a gorilla in Beast Wars but changed in to some jet/tank/robotic gorilla thing in the later seasons. In Beast Machines, he went back to being a gorilla. The American series' ends there, but Japan made lots of anime transformers/beast wars, where Optimus was a lion in Beast Wars II, and then a mammoth in Beast Wars Neo. He was a truck in all of the following series' with the exception of one, (the title, I forgot), where he was a fire engine. I think that covers it all.
