It depends on how real and honest your resolutions are.. Those who resolve to quit smoking, but who are not really committed to the idea are doomed to fail. I resolved to, and did, quit smoking because I was ready to. I think the key to resolutions is to pick just one thing that is achieveable, and then just do it. Even if you mess up a bit in the beginning, stick to your guns. But if you go into a resolution wondering when, not if, you will break it, then you will. Think of it this way - NYE, 2007, do you want to look back at the year and think that nothing has gotten better, or that you have made areal change in your life: It doesn~t have to be big - lose 15 pounds, drink only 1 cup of coffee a day, quit cheating on your gf. But stop with the negative thinking.

If you have more than one resolution, you should achieve them one at a time, or as they come. Break them up through the year. Maybe you could even make a list. Just don't wait till December of 2007 to do them all because you won't finish them all, and you will regret it. Hope I helped. Happy New Year!

Why make any if you know you are going to break them?

not knowing how important they are I'd say you have to at least give them 10 or 15 minutes.
