Never mind for a minute the ones that creep through the back door as im sure all have a bad opinion for whatever reason on them . But immigrants coming to the UK . Im mean are you worried or concerned or bothered and dont think these people have rights to be here . Its not like we own england so shouldnt it be a case of if you choose to leave youre own country then go for it , And please remember folks immigrants dont get benefits the moment they step off the plane . So that argument isnt really relevant either in my opinion . ?

Absolutely fine, why not?

I intend to migrate myself at some point and wouldn't want to be treated like a criminal if I did.

I'm Canadian (and live in Canada). I think people should be able to live wherever they choose. I love the idea of moving to a different country and would have every intention of supporting myself if I moved, I think it's rediculous that I'm not allowed. Recently I looked into moving to the US, and I was told that without a sponsor (employer, or immediate family member) I wasn't allowed. That was it, the answer was no! I thought it was really strange, especially because Canada and the US are attached, and most Canadians would say it doesn't even really feel like a different country.

Also, when I was in college, I remember a discussion in class where the teacher pointed out that we (Canadians) NEED immigrants, that if we didn't meet our "immigrant quota" every year, our population would die out!

And like you said, people don't OWN their country, we are all citizens of the WORLD. The World belongs to all of us.

And as for the illegal ones (I know, y'all gonna boo me now).... my opinion: very few people actually have the mindset that they are gonnamove to another country and just live off the system! And if I was in there situation; living in a very poor country with no money or opportunity, I'd want to do everything I could to get out of that situation too. Every person on the planet should have a right to adequate food and shelter... and what's that famous line... life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.... that should apply to all people, not just Americans. Why should we not help them?

If they are legals and contribute to the system, then fair play to them. Anyone with an atom of gumption will always try to improve their prospects and I can see nothing wrong with this. Over the last 100 years the UK has benefited immensely from immigration just as other countries have gained from UK emigrants. There will always be the few scamps who abuse the system, and that has probably gone on since men lived in caves.

The main problem for my profession (hgv driver)is that they are cheap labour. The poles that are working here can afford to work for far less and we cannot compete with them.If we were all on level pegging then it would not be a problem but many big companys are hireing them just because they are cheaper,ok you could argue it good for a company but its no good for the workers who may have worked at the same job for the last 20/30 years.

All you hear not from the boss is well if you dont like being shafted then go elsware so we can ship in a few polish drivers to do your job far cheaper, this is clearly not right!!!

Why do you think unemployment has crept up over the last fews years?

No problems with imigration, just dont like ne held to ransom by greedy bosses

They should go out there and get a job, integrate and respect the values of the people that welcome them.I am an Immigrant myself and i hate when Immigrants moans about the negative things in this country instead of appreciating and feeling blessed to be here.Let me come back to your question- i think they have right to be here and a lot of them are contributing to the economy.I urge them to stop complaining and make the most of the opportunities giving to them

I think the Britishers still live in the eighteenth century.
They want those same people to work for them as slaves.
They want to go to the other countries like India, exploit their resources, make them work for free, lodge them in "cellular" jails in their own countries if they protest, show disrespect to their leaders, hire them as soldiers and make them fight the wars that are British wars, call their calls for independence as mutiny.
But when the same people want to come to Britain and do honest work (which the Brits are not used to doing themselves) the Brits think that these hard working people are a strain on the British economy.
I have met some Brits when they travel to India, and they asked me if we still hated them for for what they did to India. And the Brits sitting in Britain have the cheek to talk **** about the hardworking "immigrants".

on the onset, i'd desire to declare that what the immigrants predicted whilst they got here replaced right into a procedures, a procedures diverse than what they theory they'd discover whilst they have been given right here. no extra beneficial than happy approximately that the two, and that's coming up a great quantity of hardship for us. the federal government is letting hustlers deliver them to this shore, and that's a very undesirable mistake. of those that come, maximum are very, dazzling human beings. did you already know that in case you do the study, you regrettably come across that the Immigrants very very nearly constantly land up costing us funds? the colleges they have had are no longer the same colleges as ours. eu colleges are each so often extra constructive, Asian colleges are each so often extra constructive, yet colleges in the midsection East and East Asia are in basic terms no longer what they declare to be. by surprise, we've extra hardship and precise there. i think of that criminal immigration would desire to be decrease to the bone. i think it may well be very acceptable to change technological awareness human beings for 6 years or some such, yet to take up some a million.5 million human beings each year who're of the class of sandwich maker in the on line casino in Reno, is marvelous in its stupidity. and that i decide on it decrease because of the fact whilst that Sandwich Maker trainee is regarded at heavily, they are entering into jobs at decrease wages than an American can take, and at that time, will never... each have the money to purchase a house. extra, coaching is in the back of them, and in fact, we've an immigrant making sandwiches on the on line casino in Reno, or some such place, for something of their lives. those human beings are as definitely chained to the business enterprise range as any who got here till now them, and this united states powerfully rejected the very element we are doing to the recent immigrants.. on the sly. we would income from some immigration. we are no longer cashing in on maximum immigration. maximum immigrants are polishing off with a very undesirable deal in ten years and what you and that i did, replaced into enable that to take place. i'm deeply embarrassed through that habit, and intensely ashamed.

No problem, most legal immigrants do allright here ,from their own hard work. It,s the Asylum seekers that cause friction, because most of them only come here for the handouts.

depends on whether they are contributing or taking. If they are bringing skills and money into the UK, then fine. If they want to learn our language and integrate into our culture, then fine. But it is the ones who stay in ghettos, won't or can't learn our language and therefore cannot integrate and cannot work, to support themselves, that give them all a bad name.
But if they want to come and join in, and contribute, then they are very welcome.

That they get ripped off and taken advantage of by people who should know better but they say it's okay since "[The immigrants] are perfectly happy". But I otherwise think that they are friendly, kind, and usually have a small (or not so small) accent.
