I broke the chains with my past, but it catches up to me every once in a while.

I'm not trapped in the past but sometimes my husband make me feel so,he's stuck in the 80's

I am, seriously think about it. Our past experiences provide us with comfort and learning experiences, so why change.
We often run or hide from things in our past, but that is what makes us who we are. Not all experiences may be good . We learn from these experiences so we all are trapped.
Trapped into knowing what is right and wrong.
Trapped in making decisions that we could have never prepared ourselves for.
All of this is generated by our past, so I say proudly..
I AM TRAPPED AND HAPPY! :)

It depends on what part of the past you're refering to. I prefer older music, antique furniture, older homes, etc....... Not because I'm trapped in the past, but because the qualities are better.

Yes. I'm 20 but I wear girly 40's/50's clothes and listen to music from the 30s-70s.

it was a happier time, so i like to reminisce now and then, but then i realize that those days are gone forever. i have to make the most of the here and now and focus on making the future brighter days.
