I had it installed 6 months ago so it is still quite new.

Call a plumber or whoever installed it and get them to fix it. Hopefully you have some kind of warranty on it or know someone who can fix it for you.

If there is water running through the spout while you have the shower on, then there is a washer that needs replacing. If the mixer washer is broken, it can be stuck and it will cause a blockage.

If your pipes are prone to freeze you could have a broken pipe somewhere. If you have a basement look for signs of water. If it's just at the fixture where you lost pressure, the installation needs to be redone.Is there a tap for a tub basin below it and if so, does it have pressure?

I assume it's a thermostatic shower, and the pressure has dropped?? You may have a booster pump that has stopped working? check that it's still switched on. Do you normally hear a pump when you use the shower.
