My gorgeous green friend - I'm afraid my view is that we should not sink to the depraved level of these terrorising dictators...he should have been left to rot in a prison.
The impact of his hanging is that our boys and girls over there representing the forces will come under more attacks. I don't want any of our people being killed because of him....on another note bring the forces home and leave the Iraqi people to fight each other.

OK, so he's dead. Why do I feel a bit uneasy about it. Was this victor's justice, political expediency or justice fair and square.Only time will tell. I do know Saddam's execution won't solve anything. Maybe the thirst for revenge would have been better served by a sentence of 10 years plus death?

They showed Saddam going to the noose and they showed his body in a shroud. I never actually saw the hanging.......
Did they hang him or is it another conspiracy theory?

I am glad he was punished for what he did. I am also glad they did not use the firing squad that is like a honor I think and he deserved to die the worst way!!!! He did horrible things. Justice was served!!!

OMG!!! they hung him!!! LOL I didn't know show's how much I'm informed... My friend said he was dead on a text, but didn't say how, yeah He should have gotten killed by people throwing rocks at him, just like they used to do in the good old days

I agree with Misuni - a slow painful death would have been more appropriate. A dose of his own medicine, as this is what he did to his victims.

Personally I'd like to have chopped them off and let him watch himself bleed to death whilst somebody filmed it for posterity.

No they did the right thing by hanging him,He himself wanted death by firing squad glad that he did not get his way.I do think that it,s all going to kick off out there now!!!!

yeah i was, they should've done more. but then again the people that executed him are just as bad as him because they're causing grief and hurt to other people that might be violated by all of it. who gives a sh....hes dead at last and thats all that matters.
