Yes your right .Too many people jump on the band wagon and behave like lynch mobs without looking into the facts .The fact that if it wasn`t for US helping Saddam to get into the position where he could do the things he did is no conspiricy theory .That he was encouraged and supplied with the weapons by the UK and US to go to war with Iran is a well know fact, its what they wanted .That he was murdering thousands of Kurds with the weapons the US and UK were supplying was know by both goverments, but they chose to turn a blind eye because they didn`t care .The reason they were so confident of finding WMD is because they had sold it to him .These are nothing to do with conspiracy theories they are know facts, the Government chooses to keep quiet about .The reason behind atacking Iraq was because Saddam stopped towing the line and he knew too much . The trial in Iraq was a joke but he couldn`t have a fair trial at the Hague for fear of what he would say
If this wasn`t true why wasn`t he tried or convicted of murdering hundreds of thousands of Kurds .The reason he was hung was for killing 140 people accused of treason (colluding with the enemy ) these people were of the same party who are running the Iraq government .(Americas puppets ) And even then two judges were sacked before they could be sure of the verdict they wanted
No one is disputing that Saddam was an evil tyrant ,but most ordinary Iraqis now say their life was far better under Saddam than it is now . any one who doesn`t believe that most of the trouble in the middle east is caused by the wests unwanted meddling.and interfering for their own advantage is deluded.

Although I get the drift of your "question", I don't feel the same brush can paint both situations. Apples & oranges. One was a brutal dictator, a murderous lunatic who put genocide on his daily list of things to do. While the others are more of an economic issue and one that is embraced by Democrats as well as Republican politicians. Both parties want them as new voters.
As to some conspiracy...well, I treat all conspiracies the same. If they have no merit, I brush them aside. History (recent history as well) shows many who are silenced or killed for what they know of an influential politician. Get the hint?

yes i know. and another reason is that the new iraqi government are such yellowbellied cowards that they will not oppose bush as he takes all their oil.
also, bush had borrowed money from a very bad source in the middle east. who? osama bin laden!
the whole thing is so mixed up. the reason they wanted sadam out of the way WAS because he was a threat. but not a threat to humanity, a threat to bush's plan to get iraq's oil etc.
btw we shouldnt talk about this stuff online. federal agents go through myspace searching for stuff thats critical of bush ad co. so i daresay they'll look through here aswell.

Who gives a fu*k!! What, did you really think when they caught him they were going to give him asylum somewhere???? Are you a fuc*ing moron???? The day they invaded Iraq, I knew Saddam was going to die, and anyone who thought otherwise, isn't to smart!! He should have offed himself and kept some resect, rather than been found hiding in a hole like a filthy rat!! Did you really think his defence team was going to pull a Johnny Chochran and he was going to be aquitted??? Fu*kin wake up!! Welcome to the world of international politics, this is how it works, this is how it always has worked, this is how it always will work. Anyone who thinks different is deluded. It doesn't matter what you think, or I think, or anyone thinks should have happened. There is only one rule: MIGHT IS RIGHT!! and when one mighty empire falls, another one rises to take its place and the cycle begins again. This will never change. Why do you think no government leaders are spilling to many tears about the execution of Saddam?? Because it is political suicide, that's why. And that is why it will never change, politicians are power hungry and won't do anything that will hurt the power they weild. Everyone knew he was going to hang, and if you didn't then your a dumb as*. Who gives a fu*k, dead is dead, he isn't coming back. That's that. Let it die with him.

The huge majority of the civilian deaths under Saddam's rule were carried out with US support, military hardware, military intelligence and US funding.
People don't want to admit the American collusion in Saddam's crimes.
The 2003 invasion of Iraq has resulted in more than double the number of civilian deaths than Saddam takes responsibility for.
We have no right to feel satisfaction by Saddam's execution. America assisted in his murderous campaign and has acted much worse in the current invasion.

Your question beggars belief. Why would you rather blame the UK or USA to cover up this despots crimes against his own people? Even if there are faults in our governments, they should be dealt with separately, they do not excuse Saddam's mass murders. Why do you and people like you prefer to divert attention to others rather than face the truth about an evil tyrant? Are you related to Saddam? Have you lost your inheritance? You have certainly lost your moral insight and the plot!

Congratulations, you've figured out that the governments that supplied Saddam with his weapons and gave him moral support back in the 80s are afraid of letting those facts become common knowledge. YOU WIN..a cookie! Governments have been building up and knocking down their enemies for centuries, why do you think it'd stop now?

He was convicted of crimes against the Iraqi people. The Iraqi peoples court system judicated him. How can you even question the hundreds of thousands of deaths he ordered in Iraq. Holding enemy combatants is not the same as genocide against thousands of people.

I see that you really managed to stay current didn't you (sarcasm intended) Saddam was turned over to the Iraqi Government shortly after he was captured. He was given a fair trial (something he never gave anyone) by the Iraqi people and he was given competent representation right up until that collosal buttplg Ramsey Clark insinuated himself into the picture to just obfuscate things all the way around like he normally does. He was found guilty of a small fraction of the crimes he was known to have committed and he was sentenced to death by the People of Iraq. The US ONLY PROVIDED SECURITY. I can't believe the way you freakin' LIBTARDS want to whine over the death of this piece of trash and use it to bash this Country. You make me sick. Why don't you just move to Iran and join Al-Queida? You're just like them.
