There's nothing good about it. Trust me, I was anorexic for a long period of my life, and it really ****** up my body. You'll end up too weak to even run or walk upstairs, unable to eat anything without vomiting, disfigured and worst of all OBSESSED with food so much that you lose your life. Even if you don't die, you'll completely lose yourself and end up regretting everything. If you live long enough to make it that far.

If you don't see that there is nothing good about anorexia, you may need to talk to a professional or trusted friend who can help you seek the help you need. Asking for the good points of something that can kill you is a warning sign. It means you may be contemplating becoming anorexic or that you don't see it for the demon it is.
It can make you loose your hair, teeth, eyesight, and mind. There is nothing attractive about a person who is that thin--anyone who thinks so also has a problem.
Having anorexia means a slow, painful death. It is self-torture that makes you physically and mentally fade away as the pain of self-doubt and self-hate continues to grow within you. Instead of making you feel good about yourself--it makes you increasingly hate yourself.

Good news?
Anorexia can be overcome.
With proper care, you can overcome your eating disorder and have a healthy child.
i found these on http://www.mamashealth.com/anorexia.asp but i don t consider them as good stuff which is related to anorexia.. but well it is good that one can still overcome anorexia.

bad, not does it lead to the permanent physical and mental impairment or death of the sufferer. it puts a whole family through years of mental and emotional torture, can break up marriages, permanently scars the other children and the anguish can cause the parent to periodically loose their love for the suffering child, bringing with it almost unendurable guilt and grief. good!!!!..... if you think there is anything good about anorexia you need a lot of help, and so will your family.

Yes...there is nothing good about it. Many years ago I had a friend who nearly died because of it. It isn't a modern thing.
What sparked it off in her was a silly careless remark about being a bit pudgy. She lost her teeth, hair, ability to have kids, her sanity..........is this enough?

There is nothing good about being anorexic. Some think that one can be a healthy anorexic, but that is medically impossible. If you are eating healthily, then you are not anorexic; you are simply lean.

The good is that you are thin and you can fit into nice clothes without feeling like a cow!
The bad is that most anorexics do not know how to be anorexic properly and they lose their health and or die. Because their bodies shut down from malnutrition.
Remember, you can still be anoerxic and stay healthy by eating veggies, fruit, fat free foods, drinking lots of water, and taking a daily vitamin!
