does it matter? i never claimed to be god. i could be a murderer and still be mad at god for his hatred of the children.
EDIT:
rocky, when you have interviewed every african on their theology i will take your word for whether or not they are turning to god. otherwise, keep your speculations and assumptions to a minimum. there are christian africans in africa. and guess what? they are not immune suddenly to aids and famine.
EDIT 2:
WIZZY, (sorry I'm so wordy tonight guys, coffee... but anyway, i believe the questioner is referring to a question I asked earlier)... anyway, "god helps those who help themselves." likewise, and with the same logic utilized, "god ties the shoes of those who have tied their shoes."
stop perpetuating this god!!!! if every christian on earth prayed for god to cure africa of it's problems, nothing would change. and deep down, you know that.

Peace!
I do not believe God wants children to suffer. Sometimes He allows suffering in order to create something good from it.
I never fully understood the meaning of suffering until I read the story of Jesus. His life, death and resurrection is model on how we should handle suffering.

i work to feed my family and give what I can as long as its not taking from their mouths. The business world does not care about them that is why they are in the shape they are in, because in Islam you can not invest your money in unclean products, so when the businessmen go to make a deal they refuse and when they do they keep all the money for themselves instead of feeding their country men, so truly in America and the rest of the world, the only thing humans have going on is economies, money. Before JFK and the welfare system their were many very poor people in America, but he felt it was time to lift the country out of poverty, he was the best ever

You understand. This is good.
Now try your best to take advantage of as many of the opportunities to be loving that are provided for you.
This is what we are here to learn.
Thanks for reminding me too.

God came to this earth as his son, to have a relationship with us and for him to prove to us who he was, He didnt heal all or helped all. He does hear our prayers, I would hope you would be praying for these children and lend a helping hand. God helps those who help themselves

Africa is a third world nation because it will not turn to God for help. Africa has forgotten God. God will also forget to protect the USA if we forget God.
Matthew 18: 6But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
7Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!

I think God set everything in motion, laid down the rules for us, and is letting human free will rule the day. When he comes, we will be judged by how well we honored his just and good precepts in the way we ran the world. And in that day, some people are going to be hurting.
