This is in the old covenant, so Christ's death put the new rather than old covenant in force (Col 2:14,Heb 9:16-17, Heb 8:7&13), but it may be the closest to what you ar talking about.

I don't think the problem is with masterbation itself under the new covenant. The issue would be the sexually impure thoughts and lust in the mind during or resulting in such an act. Gal 5:19, Rom 13:13, 2 Timothy 2:22, Titus 1:15

In Genesis 38:7-9
"Now Er, Judah's first son, did evil in the eyes of the Lord, so that he put him to death. Then Judah said to Onan, "Go in to your brother's wife, and perform your duty as a brother-in-law to her, and raise up offspring for your brother."
Onan knew that the offspring would not be his; so when he went in to his brother's wife, he wasted his seed on the ground in order not to give offspring to his brother."

Any sort of pleasure is frowned on by the church, even something as innocent and harmless as masturbation
