The Crabby-Patty cares about the people in Darfur. They have not yet reverted to worship it and must be shown the true faith.

There is not god but Crabby-Patty, and Spongebob is its prophet!

For the sake of argument, let's say that the sovereign master of the universe doesn't care about these people. What are you going to do, fire him? You may as well ask, "Do we need a sky that is only blue during the day?" You can't choose whether there is or isn't "a God" and you have no control over the color of the sky. The second thing to consider is your knowledge of God and the validity of your charge that He doesn't care. How do you know he's not in pain for these people? Just because He isn't making earth a paradise means you can dispose of him? Why not realize that you are a mere human and ask God what is going on instead of applying pataphysical logic to metaphysical situations?

No, but the God I believe in cares about everyone. It is the people here on earth, who run things, that don't care about the people of Darfur, or even about any of the less fortunate people anywhere.

God does care about the people of Darfur.

God loves everyone regardless of race, color or creed. The killings and atrocities you mentioned were caused by people who disregard God's laws. Unfortunately, God does not always intervene because he expects his children to act with justice and love.

I almost volunteered to go to Darfur.....

After reading up on the Sudan and the decades of killing that has happened there all in the name of God/ Allah.... I turned it down and withdrew my request.

Do we need people who don't care about God?
God loves all people, but all people don't love their neighbor!
God says to love and pray for your enemies.
Do you love God?

He cares more about them than you do. When people suffer God is there with them. That's my personal experience.
