I recently ended a 8 year relationship to someone I though was the best out there, but it is essential to remember that if it is ending then someone in the relationship was not completely happy in the direction that the relationship was going. When we are in love, we say many things such as we will love each other forever and it's not that these are lies but more so fitting the situation we are in right then, feelings are like people they are subject to change. Just because I will love you forever doesn,t mean I will be in love with you forever because people grow apart. The key to moving on is maintaining a healthy friendship with your ex, take as much time as you need and remember there is always room for an upgrade. Use this time alone to work on you as an idividual. Work out, or take up a new hobby to keep your mind off your sweetie. I'll pray for you. Be blessed. sweetie.

It's called idealization, and it's very common. You think of 'how it could've been' in the most positive of ways. You remember the person that's now gone but you can only focus on the good stuff and the nice things she said once, get over it. It will never be as good as you imagine it could be, simply because it's all in your head. Do different things, hang out with friends, get a hobby, drink her away, but whatever you do, don't try to talk her into getting back together, it will be lame and pointless. Let time help you forget and soon you'll see that it was more an obsession, a game, learn to lose every once in a while and move on, she already did.

wht u need at this point is not another girl but a mind diversion
the more u going to talk to ppl u end up talkin abt ur ex and the more u will think about her
get ur self a xbox and satrt playin an intresting game on it
just to keep ur mind off her thoughts
start playin pool or do things u have intrest in and pls dont watch much of tv coz they show all those romantic things and u end up thinkin abt ur ex
i have been there she is just not worth it just try ur best to forget her and move on
coz if u go back to her she will hurt u again

Time to move on my friend. There are plenty of other girls out there. You have to give them a chance. It's almost been 3 months now. Next time your friends want to set you up, go for it. The only way to get over her is to keep busy, and go out with other people. You don't have to get into another relationship, but just hang out with people.

Why don't you contact her if you still want her so bad? It is really not that hard I mean if you are still really in love, see how she is doing and for starters ask her if you can carry on as normal friends again for a while, see how it goes,
Best luck
Cheers

In every relationship there is always one person who stands up for the relationship if they KNOW that they are in love.
if you really want to see her or talk to her. tell her how you feel.
