It's mildly amusing, but not terribly funny. I always enjoy a good play on words. Probably most people just missed the twists and turns that you so delicately, artfully weaved throughout your response.

A good comedian never seeks a second opinion when they try to make a joke they wait for the opinion to come to them.
Obviously it wasn't offensive as if it were someone would've reported you already.
Why not take the url and put it on a muslim website and see what their opinion is.
