Friend I have got violations from Yahoo for mentioning God, But stop & think, what causes that, satan & there is many people on this site rather so-called Christians Or should I say Make-believers, & atheists, agnostics, Unbelievers, that can not stand God or the Truth. Myself, I don't care of yahoo takes all my points away, & I have told yahoo that in a notice of a violation, Yahoo is so liberal That all they are concern about is profit, I have said, I have had a life before yahoo & I will have one after yahoo. Don't let it upset you, You have to understand, about 99% of the people on this site are here to agigate, & agravated. And now it has gotten to a place, Many questions I just skip, Because I already see what they are leading to, & their question is not worthy to answer.

The problem is that most people are confused about imaginary gods and the One True God.
Moreover, even the believers in the One True God still deny the One True God worshipped by other revelative religions.
It may take more time, more patience, more learning...for the majority of the human race to bow down before the One True God, Who creates One Humanity out of His eternal love.

I believe in God and defend that belief vigorously when atheists rifle through the Bible to mock us by taking a passages out of context. The Pope heads a church that has lost tons of followers due to the fact that the Catholic church is still acting like it's the 1600's. No women in positions of power, the rhythm method of "birth control". Pedophile priests that were protected for years and one of the richest institutions in the world despite priests taking an oath of poverty.

God is a concept and there exists freedom of speech and freedom of speech, whereas the Pope is a person (The papacy itself is an institution) and any criticism maybe perceived as defamation, and consequently result in legal actions.

I think you are over-reacting. This is common with closed-minded zealots (christians, muslims, and all other religons). Where is your EVIDENCE that Yahoo is making a statement here on religion or God? I'm sorry... I forgot... zealots don't need evidence.

maybe because the term GOD is one which means something different to different people and to 'put God down' is just an opinion which, since we are a democracy, is allowed. However, since the Pope is a leader of a religion it would be inciteful to be derogatory, if you catch my drift.

In fact they are ignorant and they don't realize the power of GOD (swt). And when one is not aware of authority of Almighty GOD then one's behavior will be like yahoo's team. GOD bless them and help them to understand the realities.

This is America, with freedom of speech and freedom of religion. That includes the freedom to not believe AND to speak about not believing.
We are not free to slander other persons, however.
