I can't believe some of the answers I'm reading!!! As a registered Pharmacist and a first-year medical student, I'd advise you to use a warm compress. What does this mean? Well, get a clean cloth and soak it in warm-hot water, then put it over the stye. This will not cure it, but it will simply "draw" out the stye faster.
A stye is caused by bacterial infection of the eyelash (hair follicle) and unfortunately there really is no cure. The best thing you can do is hasten it's point, or, to "draw" it out by using the hot compress method I've outlined above.
I hope this helps.

There is an old fashioned rememdy which my great grandmother used and we have used it in our family ever since. I used to get a lot of stys. Just gently stroke the sty with a well washed gold ring. It must be more than 9ct.gold though. Carry out this procedure as often as possible for as long as you can stand the discomfort. Believe me it works!

the old remedy used to be to rub a solid gold ring on it but you can buy Golden Eye ointment from your local chemist. It really does work!

You are going to think I'm crazy, but this really works. Get some Breck baby shampoo and rub it on your eyelid. My doctor turned me on to this.
