The Lord said He would make His disciples fishers of men.
My question: Do you fish by sitting in your boat and telling the fish they are going to hell? I don't see this method in Scripture. Do you?

Fish are lured with bait. What bait should we use? That is the question. Try compassion, encouragement, selflessness, kindness and forgiveness. Too many "fishers" are really chasing the fish away.

Yes, I'm a fisher of men. Any fisherman knows that the time has to be right and you have to go where the fish are and use the right bait.
God's timing is when the Holy Spirit leads you to the right place at the right time with prayers and love.
Christians should not tell people that they are going to hell because the Bible says that only belivers will have eternal life.
Non believers will die an eternal death meaning they will be dead forever.
If satan could punish people throughout eternity then he would have victory over them, but no! Satan will die an eternal death also.
Jesus has the victory over death.

nicely, sure. you could repent and settle for Jesus as your Lord and Savior and then die almost immediately after with out having an threat to witness to everybody. From different viewpoint, you have been a fisher of adult adult males that on no account caught one. on the different hand, a christian who refuses to artwork on the main important job that Jesus order us to do? A christian rebelling agaisnt his/her Lord? How can one call Jesus "Lord" and not obeying Him? If no longer repenting quickly to be a non christian in God's eyes.

Jesus was speaking to his disciple in terms they would understand. In the region they lived, most made a living by being fishermen, but Jesus was encouraging them to follow in his footsteps and preach to others about him, The Christ. By doing this it's like they are fishers of men, bring salvation to those they speak to and helping them to learn to follow Jesus.

honestly, i like to fish fishes. :)).. in order to reach out and scream the lord`s concepts i think i would choose to be a fish and speak to fishes about jesus.. and not to be fished by some unknown fisher and be obliged to believe in something, otherwise i would get fried and eaten as a fish.

I agree, it's wrong to tell people blatantly that they're going to hell, especially if you don't know them very well.

But what if it's the truth? And out of love, you don't want them to spend forever in eternal damnation?

Of course, in the end the choice is up to them.
