When god returns, will he come from the sky? My image of thinking, the sky will open wide and god will be reveiled with angels. Do you believe this? Where is this written in the bible of gods return?

Heaven is a dimension that exist beyond the physical elements of this world. At the 2nd return of Jesus to this would and not in just the atomsphere above us, we read, in Revelation 19:11; And I saw heaven "opened" and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

Or John the Revelator in Revelation 4:1; After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will show thee things which must be hereafter.

Just to list a couple.

The Gospels according to John & Luke and the Book of Revelations tell what will happen when Jesus returns. There is also a good series (fiction but based on the bible) call "Left Behind" that takes it's characters through the period leading up to the "Glorious Appearing" (the return of Christ).
Basically the bible says there will be a lot of bad things happening here on earth for a 7 year period before Jesus comes back

Do not believe the bible code, believe the bible. Jesus will return when the last person who has come to him comes to him. Not a day before. Of the day or hour, nobody knows except the Father alone. We should be watchful, and pray that we may be counted worthy to excape all of these things that are coming on the world and stand before the Son of Man. We should be ready at all times, as Jesus will come like a thief, and will take many by suprise.

The problem with expectantly watching for Jesus's return is that you're looking for certain things-- and the devil knows that. You're more susceptible to taking the bait when you're focused on it. There's a huge difference between being alert as a Christian, and being focused on signs of the end to the exclusion of everything else. We must be ready for Jesus's arrival at any moment, and/or our own deaths-- you should be focused on a right relationship with God first, and doing his commandments. At a way lower priority is the trying to see when things'll happen.

We are taken up into the sky according to Revalations, so I'm guessing that's where he comes down from.
