mine is Cliff Burton(RIP)

Roger Waters - not the best technically but he did inspire me. John Entwhistle, Flea and Stuart Hamm are also all great in their own unique ways. And Cliff was such a promising talent before he died so tragically (Metallica never recovered)

John Myung or Billy Sheehan, imo the best when it comes to technicality and style

Mine was Faith No More, can't remember the bassist's name though.
