1. In a serious relationship such as marriage for life--sexual relations are caused by the love that each hold for one another--the frosting on the cake--it is a resust of showing one just how much you care and its the best way to be as one--
2. When sex IS the relationship such a fly by night dating thing with out commitment then of course when the fire of the LUST burns out you have nothing--
So the conclusion would be that unless you have a solid relationship with commitment you cant expect sex to hold it togeather --sex is simply a action (of true love) for two that are one

Sex is very important in a relationship. It is like when everything else is working out well, sex is the prize at the end. If there's no sex at all in a relationship then that may mean something is wrong. It could be the two of you are too busy. That's a problem. It shows you're not spending enough time together. If there's no longer an attraction, obviously there will be no sex, and of course that's a problem. If there's stress with a job or between the couple, no sex...see where I'm going with this? However, if you're a virgin...forget everything I just said.

Sex is a very important part of life. It isn't just an emotional or social thing it is biological. Our bodies tell us to have sex.
But... it needs to be consensual and right for both parties. Not used as a bargaining chip or given under the pressure of an ultimatum.
In a relationship sex will eventually become an issue. Depending on your age, needs and desires the sex does not need to be intercourse. Young men can be satisfied by masturbating them, letting them rub on you "dry humping" or if you are inclined to please them orally. you should never feel pressure to do anything. If your partner is "threatening' you with breaking up etc. then it's not right, find someone else. You'll now when the time is right.
Be careful, there are a lot of nasty things out there! Always use protection.
Good luck!

I thinks sex is important in a relationship but not at first. Wait until you both feel ready and are able to make the connection followed by adult decisions.

Not so much,if you truly love someone, and they truly love you, thing will develop in the time and speed that's right for you. You can have really great relationships without sex, not to say sex isn't great , it is , with the right person. but if no sex is the reason that the relationship ended the person isn't right for you.God will send the one for you to you.

it is and it is not. if u'r going out with a girl just for time pass then she'll want 2 have sex but if u'r going out with a girl who loves u and who u love then im sure she wont expect u 2 have sex, atleast not before 5 months. but be careful dont confuse infatuation with true love. Infatuation wants sex but true love doesn't

I think it's very important. However, there is no substitute to intangible things such as trust, honesty, loyalty, love and care.
