Desmond has an excellent staff of DJ-emcees, and his prices are very reasonable.
Now, if cost is no object, then you should consider Neal at "Atlanta's Best DJ" -OR- Rob Clark.

No idea for Atlanta personally but we used craigslist and just posted ads for the services we needed and it was amazing! We woke up every morning to e-mails from people offering their services.
