Hi there.
***I live in a house filled with a total of 4 humans including my mom, dad, and brother; and me of course. My brother is going to be 10 in April and I'm 13.
***We have 5 other pets ; 3 cats; 2 dogs. All get along with each other; they love each other.
***Is fairly easy to potty train; we do know that he is a puppy; and we do understand that it takes time.
***Is fairly small; about the size of a Miniature Schnauzer or smaller.(So we can take him/her in the car; if we go anywhere)
***We already have a Miniature Schnauzer and a West Highland White Terrier; and we prefer to get a different breed.
***The breed should be good with older kids.
Thanks so much. (:

Excuse me, exsiting problems? There are no problems. We may have a full house, but we're homeschooled and my mom homeschools us, therefore we have plenty of TLC to give him/her. We give our dogs the best dog food on the market.

Hello,
Instead of answering your question on what you should get, I suggest you try the link below. It's a small quiz that narrows (although sometimes the list may be big) dog breeds based upon your living conditions and preferences. I would also suggest adopting one from a shelter. :)

I would suggest a Boston Terrier. Sources online seem to suggest that they are tough to potty train, but I've raised two since they were puppies and I've met four other people who have Bostons, and we all disagree that they are any harder to potty train than any other precocious puppy, haha. Anyway, they are very playful, sweet dogs, and they make excellent in-house pets. Also, one of my friends with a Boston also has a German Shepard and a Golden Retriever, and the Boston gets along great with the other dogs. Hope this helps! :)

Have you checked into the Pomeranian breed. I have three and they are wonderful, loving, easy to care for breed. They look like they are fragile but they are quite sturdy. Very protective and very cuddly. Love to go bye-bye too. Mine remind me of little circus clowns. Very playful but do not need alot of room to play. They get along with other dogs and cats also. I would do some research into this breed - they are truely wonderful pets. Good luck. (ps. They actually only need to be brushed once every couple of weeks and they don't shed anymore than other dogs).

I would recommend a Border Terrier. They are very rugged dogs but extremely friendly and social. This is also a breed that is easy to care for, train and good with people of all ages.

Cocker spaniels are among the number 1 breeds for dog bites to children (look it up). I would go with a rat terrier, or any of the Terrier breeds.

Have you considered getting a mutt puppy from the Humane Society? They tend to live long and have great dispositions. Plus mutts are probably the cutest dogs in my opinion. You never know what they're going to look like as they mature, it will be a surprise. :o)
Good luck!

I would pass on another dog .It would only add to your existing problems.Looks as though you have a full house already.
