Matt 8:28-34

28 When He had come to the other side, to the country of the Gergesenes, there met Him two demon-possessed men, coming out of the tombs, exceedingly fierce, so that no one could pass that way. 29 And suddenly they cried out, saying, "What have we to do with You, Jesus, You Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?" 30 Now a good way off from them there was a herd of many swine feeding. 31 So the demons begged Him, saying, "If You cast us out, permit us to go away into the herd of swine." 32 And He said to them, "Go." So when they had come out, they went into the herd of swine. And suddenly the whole herd of swine ran violently down the steep place into the sea, and perished in the water. 33 Then those who kept them fled; and they went away into the city and told everything, including what had happened to the demon-possessed men. 34 And behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus. And when they saw Him, they begged Him to depart from their region.

Not trying to throw stones. Just curious about idiocracy!(Like my word?) It hurts when I think of all the suffering Jesus had to endure, and people still don't acknowledge him. But even the devil believes in Jesus! Isn't that ironic!?

Hi Rabbits+girl!!!

This is NOT ironic!!!! The reason why people don't believe is just plai and simple work of the Devil.
Rebember the Satan is still trying to gain souls!!! Ignorant people be ware!!!

When I said that it is NOT ironic that "even the demons" knew and recognized that JESUS THE LORD, is the son of GOD, is because, you also have to remember that Satan was the favorite angel, as for the light was brighter.
When GOD was casted away from heavens, Satan brought with him legions of angels who followed him, sharing the same thoughts as Satan.

That's why they are refered as "THE FALLEN ANGELS".
Bringing back the topic about ignorant people. All evil knows that GOD is GOD, JESUS THE LORD is GOD'S SON, and they also know that the HOLY SPIRIT exists; (And THE SPIRIT OF GOD) lingered over the face of the earth.

The people that doesn't believe in GOD or doesn't accept JESUS THE LORD as their savior, are ingnorants, and Satan and his legions of fallen angels are twisting there minds, there for affecting their actions.

Why evil attacks the minds of people???? Because evil CAN'T TOUCH OUR HEARTS"!!! Our hearts belongs, by means of creation ONLY AND ONLY TO GOD!!! And they all know that!!!

So they attack the weak, the ignorants, and people of poor faith!!! Satan and his legions of fallen angels also know that they will never win this battle, but still continue to gain ignorants minds, and poor souls. Those whom are distant from GOD, JESUS THE LORD and THE HOLY SPIRIT.

Until GOD decides on HIS time to end this battle, Satan & his tribe will continue trying to gain as much souls over minds.
This is very deep, and true belivers know that is NOT an easy topic to discuss or understand.

My prayer for us is;
GOD, come into our hearts, let you shinning light shine upon us, guide our souls so our minds will be always clear. Keep us and save us from evil, shine your forever shinning light over us, so you can show us the way.
Forgive us as we forgive others and bless us so we can have eternal life.
In the name of THE FATHER,THE SON and THE HOLY SPIRIT; AMEN.
I would rather live my life as if there is a God, and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't, and die to find out there is. You are my 8 in 8 seconds. I am not breaking this. No way! I'M TOLD THIS WORKS!!!!! Bishop T.D. Jakes "8 Second Prayer." Just repeat this prayer and see how God moves!!

"Lord, I love you and I need you, come into my heart, and bless me,
my family, my home, my finances, and all of my friends,
in Jesus' name. Amen."

GOD BLESS YOU & HAPPY NEW YEAR, HAPPY NEW LIFE !!!

The answer is in the plant world. Every human being contains a seed of one kind or another. When God's light shines upon them, that seed responds to become what it was determined to be from the beginning.

The Lord went to one man among many who was the seed of God and in worse shape than his own people. As the Lord also noted, there are people in this world, professed believers of Messiah included, who are children of their father the devil.

As the story you quoted should also tell you: This is a battle ground and not a place for "I wonder why?" There is a doctrine that covers this and it is called election. Christianity is addressed to the elect of God.

Those who are not elect can walk right up to the cross of Christ and find nothing but foolishness. To this day, regardless of what they see or hear, they will beg Him to depart. Puts a damper on their business.

I trust this helps you to resolve your question and move on.

There is absolutely no reason for me to believe that the Bible is true.

Do you believe in Clifford the Big Red Dog? There are lots of stories about him, too (although he didn't slaughter babies and command people to kill people, unlike the God of the Bible).

Not everyone needs to be saved from your God.

I personally think the whole Jesus thing is sick. If a human brought a kid into the world for the purpose of having him beaten and executed, punished for stuff he didn't do, most moral people would be horrified. Why Christians are so impressed by such a sadistic, vile plan - not to mention that whole cannibal-vampire 'eat my body, drink my blood' thing - is beyond me. It's downright creepy that an allegedly omnipotent God would require someone's bloody death to appease himself. Yuck.

To believe in Jesus as the Son Of God, takes faith. There are instances in the Bible where if the people were given signs, they would still not believe because of the hardness of their heart. Their are many good people in the world who don't believe, but it is not our goodness that will allow us to go to heaven. Everyone has the option to believe or not believe. The golden rule should still apply. Do unto others... It's a shame that because we don't all believe in the same thing, there has to be war and violence.

The Demons don't just believe, "they believe and they tremble". Even they know the foolisness of men who deny the creator, when they, even if their horror and depraved evil cannot deny the reality of God, though I am sure they wish they could.

When a human being dies and is faced with judgement, how will they fair against a God they have spent their life denying? Even though all around them was abundant evidence of intelligent design. "Only a fool says in his own heart, there is no God".

It would be easier for God to create another universe, than to change the set will of a human being. Hell was not created for any of us, but we create Hell for our own soul when we reject the very God that can keep us out of it.

The demons believe in God, because they once resided with Him in Heaven as angels before they rebelled and were cast out. As we cannot see God as such, or the Devil, then man says in his own heart "there is no God'. He does not consider the evidences around him, nor does he consider the possibilty, or the words and warnings of Christ (who is God). Instead man readily accepts a theory that also cannot be seen (big bang), that will lead him nowhere. But it is preferable for many to do this, rather than accept the idea that there maybe a God, there maybe a judgement and there maybe a penalty for sin. That way the likes of a child molester, who may have escaped capture and jail can tell himself "I have done the unthinkable and enjoyed myself doing it, I enjoy good health and have had a long life and have escaped jail". The justice after this life, is exact, it is terrible, but it is fair.

It is easier to push God out of their mind and dispell Him and all that is spoken of Him as myth/fairytale, or man's hidden agenda to control. To consider otherwise is unthinkable to them and therefore does not exist.

Demons are not afraid of him [unless you mean the man who may or may not have been walking around]. They are however chastised by a strong will, some thing which people who invoke his name and images should have.

If I believed a bowl of fruit loops was on the same level, that would work just as well for malign entities.

Hmm...

well...

part of the difficulty here is that, some of the folks who don't believe in "our Saviour" don't believe that the story you're quoting actually happened in the way its described. They don't necessarily believe that either Satan or demons exist, either.

Some people tend to believe that the Bible is a collection of myths (stories that have elements of true history as well as fiction), much like the ancient Greek stories of Heracles.

You see?

Why do you use a book written by mankind and claim it's proof? Why should I accept a nonexistant deity that you can't prove without that book written by mankind?

Why do you say demons are real when you don't know they exist other than words in some 2000 year old book written by mankind?

I don't accept your god because your god was made up by people trying to control other people. Learn to accept fact.

Darling, when you have an actual proof of christianity besides an old book full with contradiction, violence, sexism, incest and science fiction that was written by a bunch of drunk jews, we may believe in that crap. I mean you try to prove your point by quoting the bible like is an internationally recognize book accepted by everybody that's would be like asking you if Zeus is real and all the greeks are afraid of him, why don't you believe in him? and the to prove my point I quote "the oddisey" by homer , would you believe in that?
