Theres this girl that I like, but I'm not sure if she likes me, but what would be the best way to ask her out?

Well I knew her for about 2 years and I talk to her at school, and she talks to me. We're not really too close, but we always talk and stuff. The thing is, I'm not sure if she only likes me as a friend. Well, what do you think the best way to ask her out would be? Like a safe way so if she rejects me I won't feel bad, and won't hate her, and we will still be friends. Should I like order her flowers? Or write her a letter? Or just straight up ask her? Or something else?

My opinion is straight up ask her. If she likes u then she will agree. Either it's ok.
