Do you use any type of bubble bath or the likes in the water? If so, it could be that you are allergic to something in this; try having a bath minus the fun bubbles. :(

If not... I find that the best lotion for really dry skin is nivea, or some type of baby lotion especially designed for sensitive baby skin.
If you are really finding this a problem, i would suggest having a word with your GP, but until then, wear cotton as it helps the skin breathe.
good luck :)

In the winter, skin takes a beating because we use heaters and fireplaces to get warm. This takes the moisture out of the air and our skin. What I do is when I am in the shower, I use a loofah sponge and wash with it. It takes the dry skin off (the reason for the itching is because you have alot of dry skin that needs to come off). I then put on a moisturizing lotion that doesn't have alcohol in it. Ones with vitamin E and aloe work the best. Once you get the dry skin off, you should feel better and by doing that about every 3 days, you should be able to keep it at bay.

Try using LacHydrin Lotion (probably in the pharmacy, but no Rx needed)
After you bathe in the future, use baby oil or bath oil on your still wet skin, rub in well, and pat dry. I do this and my skin is always very soft.

Try adding a few drops of oil to bath water. You can also try aveeno for itchy skin. Always pat dry skin and use aloe or oil before dressing. Also try using cooler water as excessively hot water can be drying to skin and hair.

Your skin is ichy because it is dry. The winter season has a lot to do with it. Use a lotion with aloe vera in it. You can also use baby lotion. If that doesn't work, try changing your body wash or soap.

Grab an old pair of panty hose or trouser socks, throw in 1/3 cup of uncooked oatmeal. use that to was your body with.
helps itching. makes you feel all smooth.

if you are adding bath oil or some sort of new soap, i suggest you cease that product and see if that helps your itching.
