Turkey and red meat.
Eggs, yoghurt. Have 2 protein shakes a day. By a protein whey powder from health food shops (not cheap) and blend with skim milk, a banana and some blueberries.
With serious working out you'll be ripped in no time.
Also, check out a book called the Abs Power Diet. I'm just about to start it and have heard great things.

Muscle Milk. Best taking protein/ calories drink on the market. Although, any kind of protein would do it. Fish, eggs, meat, dairy... they all work great.
Water. Drinking plenty of it. Do you know why people take creatine? because it opens up your muscles to absorb more water. Why? So your not fatigued!!! Water (and potassium) greatly reduce soreness after massive sets.
Thats pretty much it for food, pretty soon though, you'll probably get into supplements too!

yeap, agree - protein.
You can go to a health food store and get protein shakes in different flavours. I have Sustagen sprinkled on my cereal in the morning or as a morning tea drink instead of coffee.
