okay. first off, you should be feeding a specific amount of age appropriate food twice a day, with just a few training treats in between. if your puppy insists on eating weird things, it is possible that there is something medically wrong with him. take him to the vet and get him checked for worms. otherwise, he could just be eating things because he's a puppy, and in that case you should tell him "no" and don't let him eat it. your question isn't very clear so that's all the info i can give you at the moment.
one more thing. DO NOT LET YOUR PUPPY GET FAT! if you have a large breed puppy you could seriously damage his joints and then you're facing huge medical bills in the future. it is much better for a dog to be too thin that too fat. i'm so tired of seeing obese dogs and then having to listen to their owners complain about the health issues.

Read on the label of the dog food can or box and give your puppy the amount specified for the size puppy you have and don't put down anymore than that. Who is bigger you or the puppy? He eats soil??Keep walking and tell him NO! When he starts to eat dirt. At four years old he is a full groan dog and no longer a puppy. Are you sleepy?Did you mean 4 months old?I havent figgured out the eats soil part.

I think you should take him int o the vet and make sure that all his weight and halth doing good if all turns out ok I think you don't have much to worry about. Another thing might be that he has some perasites or something along that because my cousin had a cat that did that and it was do to the sites that ate up everything and made the cata more hungry I dont think its that in your case though do to the fact that your dog is gaining weight.

He eats so much he looks 1. When he is 4? Is he part dingo? I have seen part dingos eat rocks. I would give him food in manageable amounts approximately 3 times a day and make sure it is a food with enough nutrition. And take him to a vet for a neuter.

It sound as if your dog needs to see a vet. It is not normal for a dog to eat soil. At 4 years of age he is no longer a puppy. Please have him checked out . It could be a nutrition and /or a parasite problem.
