Start recording his calls, and at the same time, notify the police and play the recording for them if one was made. They will trace the calls. This is too dangerous to do it alone.

Stop encouraging it! Get caller ID and don't answer the phone when it's him. If you accidentally pick up the phone, hang up as soon as you hear his voice. Change your number if you have to. He may need to have a "significant emotional event" (like being visited by the police or slapped with a restraining order) in order to snap out of this obsessive, ultimately destructive pattern he seems to have gotten himself into, but you have to realize that he may not "snap out of it" no matter what you do. So in the meantime, you need to protect yourself and have a heart-to-heart with your mom to make sure she realizes the potential danger and is taking steps to protect herself, as well. Develop a "safe plan," so that you know what you're going to do and in what order in case he ever shows up or becomes violent (i.e., map several routes to the nearest shelter and/or police department, arrange with a friend or neighbor to contact police if you don't check in at a certain time each day, have the neighbors call police if they see his vehicle at your house, etc., etc.). Contact your local women's shelter for advice and/or assistance, if you need it. Don't wait until this escalates to actual physical harm to you or your mom before you take the steps to get out of this dangerous situation. I wish you the best of luck!

Please call your local police and get a restraining order on him. I know that sometimes these feel like pointless acts. You can also put a recorder on your phone if he calls record what he says and then take him to court or you will have evidence backing you up in court....always insure you and your families safety....but please make a statement or complaint with the police then it becomes evidence to prosecute him about harassment.

you and your mom need to file a stalking complaint out on him and maybe even a restraining order so he will leave you and mom alone. most people that stalk others have serious head problems so please do not under estimate what he might do. if i was your mom, i would also get a gun to keep in the house, and maybe put the word out so it would get back to him that she has a gun and will use it if she has too. please be careful and you and your mom stick together. he sounds like a real sicko

tell him that if he keeps on doing that then you will call the police and let the police handle it. It can be harassment.
