Aw, they just don't want to have to admit that the Grand Canyon was actually dug as a work project after WWI, to create a tourist attraction and get people to visit Las Vegas while they're in the area! All the dirt they dug out to make that hole became the southern leg of the Rockies.

I'm a Christian and think this is as bad and wrong as, Christians telling people they are "going to hell" for disagreeing with them. It is wrong to control people's beliefs [verbal] on any topic he or she holds as true to them. Those, who believe the Grand Canyon was formed apart from any one's belief, have the right to do so ! Everyone has the right to be wrong !!! This is freedom of choice !!!

well, it sort of proves how dumb the religious right is.

I mean, if they are pressuring people into withholding information that disproves their theories, I think it'stime to just give up. It's one thing to believe in Christianity, it's another to refuse the possibility that anything about the religion could be even partly incorrect.

That's freakin stupid. What happened to freedom of speech in this country? We're supposed to have the right to offend.
