Ok, i'm smart, funny, attractive, involved, unafraid, flirty, and deep down, i'm a tomboy. so why does every guy at my school ignore me or completely reject me? i haven't had a date in almost a year, and the one i had ended terribly. are all high school guys crap; or is it me?

Ok, i'm smart, funny, attractive, involved, unafraid, flirty, and deep down, i'm a tomboy. i've been told that i'm the nicest person at my school. so why does every guy at my school ignore me or completely reject me? i ask guys out that i like, but they all either don't like me or just want to be friends. i don't get it; i was nominated for homecoming queen, for crying out loud! i haven't had a date in almost a year, and the one i had ended terribly. what's the deal? i'm sick of being invisible

It could be that you are intimidating. Does your dad own a gun or do you have big brothers? That could be a turn off for some guys. Guys in highschool are usually immature. Girls mature at a younger age. They may think that you are taken already since you are so "wonderful". Maybe you come off as a snob unknowingly.

They are scared. Deep down high school guys are absolute sissies. Thankfully they wise up by the time they get to college and then you'll be beating them off with a stick!

If you are all those things, a lot of those boys probably feel like they don't have a chance with you. If there is a boy you're interested in, you might have to nudge him a little so he knows you're interested in him, and don't flirt with other guys when you're around him or he'll feel discouraged. You sound like a great catch. Just be patient. Good luck!

the tomboy thing might be a turnoff... hard to tell since i don't know you... in high school guys are shyer than you think. you need to go to a dance or something and get into the action... forget waiting for some guy to ask you out, just grab one you like and pull him onto the dance floor... trust me, guys need some guidance once in a while

you may be too good to be true. Maybe guys are intimidated around girls like you! Be the first one to make a move. go for the guy YOU want dont wait for them do you and them both a favor and make a MOVE!
edit: tomboy is NOT sexy and guys want sexy at this point...do something about that....it is a major turnoff.

All guys are alittle dumb in High School. You have to remember at that age you have to shoot downwards by 5 years. Not to worry your still young and your time will come. You'll find a nice guy that will appreciate you for all you good qualities
